Hello! My name is Antoinette Francis and I am the founder of Literacy to Legacy Services. As a graduate of the University of Florida I set out on a path to teach and quickly developed a passion to build good readers. From Kindergarten to the 8th grade level I saw some of my students who struggled with reading suffer through low self esteem and hopelessness. I set out to get evidence based and proven methods of reading intervention training to equip myself and my students. I have been trained in explicit phonics  through Hillsdale College. I have been trained in the systematic, multi-sensory, and explicit phonics with the Orton-Gillingham method through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE). My alma mater also afforded me the opportunity to further my learning through the Literacy Micro-Credential course through the Lastinger Center for Learning. All these programs have afforded me the opportunity to equip my students with the Reading skills they so desperately needed and helped them to see success. I am confident that I have the skills needed to help your student become a proficient reader.
